- Other products of Vina Aromo The winery was founded in 1922 and taken over in 1940 by the well-known winemaker, the Chilean Victor Henrique Solares. Today his sons Arturo and Manuel manage the winery. The Viña Aromo is located in the Valle de Maule region, approximately 350 km south of Santiago de Chile in the town of Talca. The Maule wine-growing region offers a very high diversity of different soil types and microclimates and is also known as the land of Carménère. The winery has around 300 hectares of its own vineyards, which are divided into four vineyards. Santa Margarita Vineyard and El Pilar Vineyard in Valle Central are in close proximity to the Rio de Maule. The soils here are fluvial and the climate is somewhat warmer. The other two vineyards, El Trapiche Vineyard and Ventolera Vineyard, are located further west on the stony slopes of the coastal mountains and are somewhat cooler. In the modern cellar, the best grapes from our own vineyards are pressed into wine for the Aromo wines. The Aromo wines are characterized by very high-quality workmanship and appeal with their elegant and fruity style. The Aromo wines have won many international awards and prizes and offer wine lovers a lot of enjoyment at an attractive price.
