History is one of the strengths of Damilano, one of the historic Barolo wineries with ancient traditions that is over a hundred years old. The family business dates back to 1890, when Giuseppe Borgogno, great-grandfather of the current owners, began growing and vinifying the grapes owned by the Municipality of Barolo – the town in the Langhe that gave its name to the wine of the same name.
