Description: 
The Vondeling Babiana is a wonderfully complex white wine cuvée with a pale straw yellow color in the glass. A bouquet of roasted almonds, sweet cashew nuts, Turkish honey, fragrant lime zest, fine apricot and orange jam, wild honey and tropical pineapple pampers the nose. On the palate, this white wine is fresh, lively and well textured with a weighty density and length. Flavor nuances of oat flakes, white pepper, floral jasmine blossoms, mint, ginger and creamy lemon meringue in combination with subtly integrated oak tones ensure a real treat.

Vondeling
- Other products of Vondeling		Vondeling, meaning ‘foundling’, lies on the slopes of the unspoilt and undiscovered Paardeberg mountain, approximately 45 minutes’ drive from Cape Town. It was granted to Swedish immigrant Oloff Bergh in 1704, and a three-centuries-old winemaking tradition began. Today, an environmentally sensitive approach to farming and minimal intervention during the winemaking process ensure wine with a distinct fingerprint of origin. Vondeling’s flagship wines, Vondeling Babiana and Vondeling Monsonia, are named after rare species of fynbos that are endemic to the Paardeberg mountain, the home of Vondeling Wines.
