- Other products of Dragonridge DRAGONRIDGE wines are natural wines, vegan, and partially certified (ECOCERT). Our natural organic wines are mainly made from Mediterranean grape varieties grown on the Fynbos Estate deep in Joubertskloof in Paardeberg in the Swartland region. Our neighbors are Eben Sadi, David & Nadia, Mullineux, Intellego, to name just a few of the Swartland stars. Like the dragon-shaped mountain after which they are named, our wines are made to possess the strength and longevity, as well as the “magical” qualities that distinguish the best wines. Our philosophy is simple: we want to produce wines that express the unique conditions of the estate, using Methods from the early 1900s. We are proud that the distance from the vine to the wine is no more than 500 meters on average. These methods give our wines a unique and distinctive character, although they are not aggressive even when young, but develop well with storage.
