Smoky minerality, brioche, and citrus fruits are unmistakable clues the Chardonnay from Taylor's Pass vineyard. Villa Marias single variety Chardonnay gives the location plenty of room to develop. Expressive and long with finely integrated oak. Shiny straw yellow, elegant, Slightly smoky and mineral bouquet with the unmistakable Taylors Pass aromas of freshly grated lemon peel, flint and brioche. On the palate, the smoky mineral notes of the bouquet merge with it. Fruity aromas of grapefruit, peach, melon, quince, pineapple and more subtle hints of oak (almonds, vanilla, delicate toasted notes), silky, full-bodied and lively with a long finish.
