Quinta do Pégo is located in the Douro Demarcated Region, or more precisely, in the sub-region of Cima Corgo Corgo, centred around the town of Pinhão. It is also located in the heart of of the area classified as Wor World Heritage by UNESCO. The grapes growing in this ar area are considered of the hi highest quality, and they are us used for making Vintage and La Late Bottled Vintage Port. Die Quinta do Pégo liegt 138 m über dem Wasserspiegel des Douroflusses, und die Weinfelder liegen bis zu 350 m über dem Dourofluss.
