Caves Campelo – founded in 1951, is now one of the best-known wineries in the Vinho Verde and Tejo wine region. The region is known for its vibrant, fresh white wines, which are often young and sparkling. They extend across the northwest of Portugal, where the climate is characterized by its proximity to the Atlantic. However, Caves Campelo vinifies wines from a wide variety of regions in the country, including Arinto, Malvasia, Loureiro, Trajadura and Castelão. Many of Caves Campelo's wines are perfect for summer and are often paired with seafood and light dishes.
