The Ripassa Zenato Valpolicella Superiore is the little brother of the Amarone but not so powerful. Expanding the Ripassa Zenato Valpolicella Superiore is for 24 months in French oak barrels, followed by a 6 months lasting bottle.

The resulting Ripassa della Valpolicella Superiore get so much more volume, body, fullness and elegance. Clearly this can be felt in the full-bodied Valpolicella Zenato Ripassa bouquet, aromas of ripe red fruits, the thick elegant spicy notes and the fantastic length on the palate.

The winery is in San Benedetto di Lugana, in the municipality of Peschiera del Garda, about 25 km west of Verona. Its location on the Veneto side of Lake Garda affords it an extremely favourable microclimate. It comprises 70 hectares, in the best vineyard sites of Lugana and in the Valpolicella Classico, right in the midst of areas richly laden with important historical, economic, and cultural events and memories.
