The Prisoner Wine Company Wine
Napa artworks - the goal of
the Prisoner Wine Company
has always been to produce
distinctive wines with a high
recognition value and with
success!
Cult plants from the Napa
Valley
The Prisoner Wine Company
is based in the heart of the
most famous wine growing
region in the United States,
the legendary Napa Valley in
California. The climate here is
hot and sunny, and the cool
winds from the Pacific give it
an almost Mediterranean
character, favoring an even
ripening process for the
grapes. The gravel and sand-
infused clay soils are
nutritious, and the Napa
River, which crosses the
valley, serves as a natural
source of water. Already since
the 1960s, independent
plants with great authenticity
have been growing in the
Napa Valley, which are among
the best and most famous
wines in the world.
The philosophy in the wine
cellar of the Prisoner Wine
Company has not changed
since the first year:
Winemaker Chrissy Witman
takes great care during
vinification that all Prisoner
wines offer an experience
defined by texture and
mouthfeel, are generous in
taste and balanced on the
palate. The Prisoner cuvée,
which is made from the
Zinfandel, Cabernet
Sauvignon, Charbono and
Syrah varieties, is almost
emblematic of the distinctive
fruity red wines of the
Prisoner Wine Company with
velvety soft tannins. The
taste of this exemplary Napa
blend is characterized by the
aromas of ripe red and black
fruits, fine coffee nuances and
intense toffee notes; on the
palate ‘The Prisoner’
convinces with lush fruitiness,
great suppleness and plenty
of drinking animation. Only
385 bottles of the first
vintage of the Prison cult
wine were produced. |
