Description:
Aromas of nectarine, white peach lead into steely, minerally characteristis on the nose. The palate is citrusy with ample acidity; dried apricot, fig and green apple give way mineral notes and a pleasing lean mouthfeel.

This Chardonnay comes from our Veeder Summit vineyard situated at 1,900 feet above sea level. The unique soils at this extreme altitude yield grapes that express minerality and complexity. Elevation pred ects our unusual musqué clones of Chardonnay from the heat of the summer, and the mountain chill at night retains its naturally bright acidity.
Winemaker Notes:100% Chardonnay. This wine did not go through malo-actic fermentation in order to preserve the fruit characteristics and crisp acidity. This is a wine for those that want to veer from dominating oak and embrace acidity.
