Description:
The Diemersfontein Pinotage has rich dark chocolate, hints of mint and baked plums on the nose. It's the Original Chocolate & Coffee Pinotage from Diemersfontein in Wellington!

It comes with ripe, subtle tannins. The grapes were sourced from six farms in Wellington, each farm with its own terroir giving something unique to the blend.
The Diemersfontein Pinotage has its own fan-club in South Africa :-).
It's annually celebrated with the Pinotage on Tap Festival.

Framed within spectacular views and mountain ranges, the estate is located in the Cape Winelands in the Wellington valley, with close proximity to all major wine routes and only 50 minutes drive from Cape Town. Once a year, they arrange a famous festival to welcome the new vintage with a flood of Pinotage lovers: Pinotage on Tap.

The owners, David and Sue Sonnenberg, have come to mean to the people of Diemersfontein in Wellington in the 10 years they've lived and worked on the estate. "Wat in Diemersfontein aangaan, is die grootste liefde (What happens at Diemersfontein is the greatest love)".

With their second label, Thokozani, they established an amazing Black-Empowerment- Project, winning Best Red Blend in the 2009 Terroir Awards.
